Lewis Dale Casper, 63, Idaho Falls, died at a local hospital Saturday, January 14, 1979. Cause of death was unavailable.

Born May 25, 1915, at Lewisville, he was the son of George Melvin Casper and Nancy Oleen Grover Casper. He received his schooling in the Lewisville area.

He was married to Wilma Prude Clayton at Pinedale, Wyoming on April of 1937. In 1948 they were divorced. He was married to Helen Clayton on August 10, 1951, at Ogden, Utah. They were divorced in 1968. He was married to Alice Perry August 3, 1972 in Elko, Nevada.

Lewis had worked as a diesel mechanic all of his life, working as such for Bonneville County for twenty years. He was a veteran of World War Two, having enlisted in the Army in 1940 and being discharged in 1945, having served four years over seas in the Army-Air Force.

Survivors are his widow of Idaho Falls and children, Elva Kay Whitaker of Texas, Dale Melvin Casper of Georgia, Bruce Casper of Idaho Falls, Rex Casper of Rexburg, and Ronnie Casper of Rexburg; His mother Nancy Casper of Rexburg; three brothers, Milan M Casper of Rigby, Willis G. Casper of Rexburg and Reo A Casper of Utah; and six grandchildren.

He was buried in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
