Mrs. Langford retired from the South Carolina Department of Education. She was a longtime member of Ascension Lutheran Church who volunteered her time and talents to the church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and lived to know and enjoy her great-grandchildren. She was an excellent homemaker with exceptional cooking skills and a talented seamstress and clothing designer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark H. Langford, brothers, James and Joe Andrews, and sister, Clarice Giles.
