Dora M. Hughes, 78, 800 Pleasant St., Reynoldsville, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.

Born July 1, 1933, in DuBois, she was a daughter of the late Dallas Clontz and Elsie Douthit Clontz. She was married to Burton Heitzenrater Aug. 5, 1951. He preceded her in death July 31, 1960. She was then married to Silvio Calliari Nov. 9, 1961. He preceded her in death May 21, 1996. She was then married to Keith C. Hughes Dec. 13, 1997. He preceded her in death Feb. 23, 2004.

She was a 1951 graduate of Reynoldsville High School, Reynoldsville. She had been a customer service representative for S&T Bank in Reynoldsville for more than 20 years. She also worked for Community First Bank of Reynoldsville for 2 1/2 years. Dora and her husband, Silvio owned and operated the Glad Isle Restaurant and Bar from 1964-87.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Reynoldsville, and Reynoldsville Chapter 220 Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel Heitzenrater, Reynoldsville, and George (Lorna) Heitzenrater, Hazen; two stepsons, Thomas (Doris) Calliari, Brockway, and Gary Calliari, Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, George (Helen) Clontz and Dale (Josephine) Clontz, both of Reynoldsville; two grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one great-grandson; and four step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas L. Clontz and one step grandson.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Reynoldsville, with the Rev. Thomas Carr officiating. Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
