Ann Collier Cunningham, longtime Arlington resident, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, in Mansfield at the age of 92. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Arlington Chapel. Ann was born in St. Joseph, Mo., to Ann T. and Ewing Snyder. She was the consummate Southern woman who never met a stranger and formed instant and lifelong relationships. Her life was devoted to her family, her friends and her community. Ann was a surrogate Mom to decades of her children's friends. She was past president of the Arlington Women's Club, volunteered for more than 35 years with Meals on Wheels, as well as a variety of other local charities, including Mission Arlington, Arlington Night Shelter, American Cancer Society, Heart Fund. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Arlington. The biggest joys in her life were her nine grandchildren, their spouses and her seven great-granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim Cunningham, and daughter, Kay. Survivors: Daughters, Su Cunningham, Carole Taylor and her husband, Van; sons, Dr. Jim Cunningham and wife, Martha, Dr. David Cunningham and wife, Pam; grandchildren, Suzannah Taylor and husband, Jamie Antonson, Sally Reyes and husband, Rick, Charlie Cunningham and wife, Alexis, Kaycee Crisp and husband, Brandon, Whitney Cunningham and fiancee, Jordon Giancoli, Melissa Taylor, Christian Cunningham and wife, Holly, Sam Cunningham and Callie Cunningham; great-granddaughters, Annie and Gracie Reyes, Tallulah and Clementine Antonson, Caroline and Violet Crisp, and Emerson Cunningham.
