ROBERT LEROY BUELL.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p. m. today at the Dahlstrom funeral home in Des Moines for Robert Leroy Buell, 36, a former Waterloo resident, who died Friday in a tractor accident near Des Moines.
The Rev. Clayton P. Elsberry, pastor of the First Wesleyan Methodist Church in Waterloo, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunland, Calif.
Mr. Buell, whose home is in Sunland, had been visiting a brother, Herbert, of Ankeny. His wife had remained with his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. W. A. Buell, 2120 Ansborough Ave., while he visited his brother.
Robert Buell was born March 6, 1924 in Waterloo. He graduated from West High School in Waterloo and Marion College, Marion, Ind.
He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
He married Evelyn Yarrington on Oct. 27, 1945. The couple lived in Waterloo until they moved to California in 1945. Mr. Buell was a mailman at Sunland. He was a member of the Sunland Wesleyan Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Johnny, and two brothers, Herbert of Des Moines and William of Moline, ILL.
