On May 29 2002. Of Berlin NJ. (Tansboro). Age 89 years.

Husband of Ruth (nee Downes); two sons Carl Jr. and Edward both of Tansboro a daughter Carolyne (Sis) Sleeter of Blackwood a brother F. William of Tansboro seven grandchildren Kevin Sleeter, Kasey Sleeter, Kurt Sleeter, Kelly Sleeter Gurchick, Karl Auwarter, Jill Pape, Gretchen Auwarter Gross; also eleven grandchildren Melissa, Amanda, Rebecca, Caroline, Victoria, Nicholas, Kolton, John, Christopher,Caithlin, Carmen, and Christina; also four nieces and six nephews.

He was the former owner of Little Timber Ranch. He was a charter member of the Tansboro Fire Co. member of Thorobred Horsemen's Assoc of NJ. the NJ Breeder's Assoc. a member of the Holy Communion Lutheran Church.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday June 3 11AM from the Holy Communion Lutheran Church Rt. 73 Berlin NJ where the family will receive friends after 9:30AM.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers kindly make donations to the Holy Communion Lutheran Church in his name at the above address.
