Junior Glenn Hussey, of Ludowici, passed away Sunday night, Aug. 18, at the age of 78 at Altamaha Healthcare Center in Jesup after a long illness. Glenn was born in Robbins, N.C., and later moved to Hinesville, to barber for the next 47 years. Glenn worked well past retirement because he enjoyed seeing his friends and customers. He attended Friendship Baptist Church. Glenn's wife, Ann Hussey, preceded him in death in 1997.

Ludowici Junior Glenn Hussey passed away Sunday night at the age of 78 at Altamaha Healthcare Center in Jesup, Georgia after a long illness. Glenn was born in Robbins, North Carolina and later moved to Hinesville, Georgia to barber for the next 47 years. Glenn worked well pass retirement because he enjoyed seeing his friends and customers. He attended Friendship Baptist Church. Glenn's wife, Ann Hussey, preceded him in death in 1998. Survivors include his loving friend and partner, Erlene Halstead of Miday; brothers, Ivan Hussey and Richard Hussey of Reidsville; a sister, Mavis Kicklighter of Reidsville; stepdaughter, Debra Lee of Hinesville; stepsons, Brian Lee and Gary Wedincamp of Hinesville; and Gary's children.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Robert O Long officiating with burial to follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Park.
