Miss Munchel was born January 1, 1918 in York, a daughter of the late George A. and Anna M. (Carbaugh) Munchel. She retired as Office Manager of Wagner's Stationery Store. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Catholic Women's Club, the Golden Nuggets, and the Pilot Club. Miss Munchel is survived by a sister, Joan Lutz of York; a brother, C. Edward Munchel of York; nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with an 8 p.m. recitation of the Rosary, at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York. The service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church, 321 S. George St., York. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 321 S.
