Carl H. Bierbaum, 88, Neillsville, died Monday, April 29, 1991, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 2, 1991, at 1:30 p.m. at Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville. Rev. James Gordon officiated and burial was in Pine Lawn Memorial park, Wauwautosa.

Carl H. Bierbaum was born May 31, 1902, in Eyota, Minn., to John and Margaret (nee Scherer) Bierbaum. He received his education in Minnesota. On July 3, 1931, he married Lydia I. Lipprandt in Dubuque, Iowa. He worked for A. O. Smith in Milwaukee for 39 years, retiring in 1968. He and his wife have resided in the Neillsville area for the last 19 years. He was a member of Southern Clark County Sportsman Club.

Survivors include his wife two sons, Ray Bierbaum, Milwaukee and Donald Bierbaum, Neillsville three daughters, Mrs. Joan Crume, Victorville, Calif. Mrs. Leota Vink, West Covina, Calif. and Mrs. James (Darlene) Bintzler, Milwaukee one sister, Mrs. Nettie Thiede, Rochester, Minn. 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, three brothers and three sisters.
