Donald Alva Baker, 92, of Harrisburg, died on Tuesday, December 20, at Pinnacle Health Community Campus.
He was born in Eldorado, Pa., on November 23, 1919. He graduated from Altoona High School and earned an engineering degree from Penn State University. An Army Air Force veteran of World War II, he was retired from IBM, for which he worked his entire career.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Baker; four children; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
