Josephine (Reno) Gitschlag was my grandmother Kathleen (Reno) Simpson's sister. She was one of eleven syblings born to John J. and Phoebe (Anstett) Reno in Detroit Michigan. Her and Charles did not have any children together , but she helped raise Charles children by his first wife Beatrice, after Beatrice passed away.

My Grandmother lived with her and Charles for a time and my sister Carol and I went to visit Grandma there when we were little girls.
