Franklin, April 14 -- Following a long illness, Mrs. S. A. Lovel, who was born in Mercer county near Raymilton on August 2, 1856, died at her home, 1211 Eagle st. Wednesday evening. She was aged yo years and eight months. On March 4, 1877, she was married to S. A. Lovel, of this city, who survives her, together with two children, Charles F. Lovel of Franklin, and Mrs. Clara R. Butler of East Liverpool; and the following brothers and sisters out of an original family of 18 children: Mrs. Lodema Wilson, Franklin, Marion Perrine, Jackson Center, Nell Perrine, Polk, Mrs. Mary Caltharp, Hadley, Lafayette Perrine, Raymilton, Mrs. Ella Schueffer, Casper, Wyoming, Ellsworth Perrine, Mercer County, Mrs. Edna Winters, in the far west, and Mrs. Fred Stubbs, Franklin; two grandchildren and 42 nephews and nieces.
Mr. and Mrs. Lovel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last March. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Franklin.
The funeral is to take place at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon with Rev. S. S. Clark officiating. Interment is to be in the Franklin cemetery and will be private.
