Mr. and Mrs. John H. Zentner. 2614 Rockingham Road Davenport, will be honored at a family dinner and open house Wednesday in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. Friends and relatives may call from 7 to 10 p.m. at their home. Miss Bertha Mae Washam and Mr. Zentner were married May 3. 1922. in the parsonage of First Baptist Church, Humboldt, Iowa. Mr. Zentner was employed at Farmall Works. International Harvester Co.. Rock Island, until retiring in 1965. They are the parents of Mrs. Melvin R. Bauguess, Daven port, and William J. C. Laurel- ton. Long Island. N Y. There are four grandchildren.

Services for Bertha Zentner, 90, formerly of 2614 Rockingham Road, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. to day. She died Saturday at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Davenport. Bertha Washham married John H. Zentner in 1922 Mrs. Zentner in Gilmore City, Iowa. He died in 1972. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport; King's Daughters, Caterie Circle; Davenport Chapter No. 178 Order of Eastern Star; Davenport White Shrine of Jerusalem No. 7; and Davenport Moose Auxiliary. Memorials may be made to the church or King's Daughters. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Barbara Christo, Kissimee, Fla.; a son-in-law, Melvin Bauguess, Davenport; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Nancy Aurig, Kansas City, Mo.; and a brother, George Washham, New Columbia, Mo. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen, in 1990 and a son, William.
