His Legacy…born Nov. 3, 1927 in Olympia, WA and died
Dec. 16, 2014 in Oroville, CA. Wally passed peacefully at his home after an inspirational battle with cancer with his loving wife, Twyla at his side. He was raised in a logging company town in Washington during the depression. Wally joined the Merchant Marines serving in the Pacific until the fall of Japan.He met Twyla in Huntington Park, CA, and they married in 1946.After living in Oregon several years, he moved his family to Buena Park working at Ducommon Metal Supply in downtown Los Angeles. In 1963, he moved his family to Oroville working as a PG&E serviceman. He & Twyla retired in 1986 opening Twy’s Ceramics. He was an avid golfer and woodworker
producing many fine pieces of furniture. Throughout his battle with cancer, Wally was buoyed by his relationship with The Lord and thankful for the many blessings God had bestowed upon him during his lifetime.

His Family…includes his wife of sixty-eight years, Twyla, two sons and their wives: Michael & Sandra, Gordon & Christl along with seven grandchildren & four great-grandchildren that he was very proud of. They are deeply saddened by his passing. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Slavik, in 1978.In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to Butte Home,Health & Hospice in his honor. Arrangements are entrusted to Oroville Funeral Home (530)533-0323.

His Farewell Services… will begin with a visitation on Dec. 26,2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home,1175 Robinson St. Oroville from 3-5 pm. His Funeral Service will be on Dec. 29, 2014, 10:00 am and held at the Evangelical Free Church
on Olive Hwy. Private burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oroville.
