She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1936 and fron the former Morris School of Beauty. She worked as a beautician in her home for many years. She also worked at Pizza House, Knox County Nursing Home, Knox Manor and McCellan's Dime Store.
She is survived by three daughters, qne brother, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two son-in-laws.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She was a member and Past Oracle of the Royal Neighbors of America, Past President of the Eagele's Auxiliary and a former 4-H leader.
Cremation was accorded and her ashes are laid next to her husband.
