Evadine was born August 14, 1943 in Carrier Mills, IL, the daughter of Samuel and Emma (Wiley) Walker. She married Donald Waltemate on December 28, 1963 in Chester, IL and he survives of Chester, IL.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Stallman and Tracy Woods both of Chester, IL. One brother, Fred Walker of Jacksonville, FL. Three sisters, Barbara Drysdale of Lakeview, AR and Mary McAdams and Frieda Berry both of Chester, IL. Four grandsons also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one half-sister.
Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm Tuesday, December 16, 2014 and after 7:30am Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, IL.
A funeral service for 71 year old Evadine Waltemate will be held at 11am Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, IL with Dr. Mike Fogerson officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, IL.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Hospice of Southern Illinois or to Puppy Rescue 911.
