Beulah M. Ackerman, 92, of Waterloo, died Thursday, December 11 at Unity Point Allen Hospital.
She was born September 12, 1922 in Fulton, daughter of Roscoe and Vivian McDonald. She married Chester Ackerman September 7, 1940. He died April 28, 1975.
Beulah worked part-time at Rath Packing Company in the dining room for several years and then at Central Middle School in the cafeteria until retiring after many years. She was a member of Greenhill Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Farris and Linda Elliott; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Helen (Bresson) and Hazel Meyers.
Preceded in death by a sister, Isabelle Townley and four brothers, Roscoe, Richard ‘Dick”, Jim and Harris McDonald.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Greenhill Baptist Church, Cedar Falls with burial in the Dunkerton Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4-7 pm Sunday at Hagarty – Waychoff – Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo and for an hour before services at the church.
