Royal I Spencer...Ottawa, KS..Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Lamb Robert Funeral Home here for Dr Royal I Spencer, 88, Ottawa, who died Tuesday in an Ottawa hospital after a short illness. He was born 7 Jul 1885 in Dickinson Co., and moved with his parents to Ottawa in 1886. He graduated from the Illinois College of Chiropody in Chicago in 1926 and was a chiropodist and good surgeon in Kansas City Missouri for 38 yrs.
He moved to Ottawa in 1950. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ottawa. He was married to Maude M. Allison, 20 May 1916. She died 2 Apr 1973. Survivors include his sister in law, Mrs. Steward Humphreys, Ottawa; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Mount Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
