Mrs. Sarah C. Nitchman, 87, formerly of York Springs, died Tuesday at 7:55 a.m., at the Blue Ridge Haven West Nursing Home, Camp Hill.
She was born in York Springs, the daughter of the late Gilbert Fickel and Barbara (Prosser) Fickel, and was the widow of Edward Nitchman, who died in 1937.
Mrs. Nitchman was a nurse and had been living in Harrisburg since the death of her husband. She was a member of the Chestnut Grove Lutheran Church in Latimore.
She is survived by one son: Weldon L. Nitchman of New York City.
