M.P. Atkinson
Mr. Meredith P. Atkinson, a resident of the Clovis area since 1963, died Saturday at his home at 314 W 14th St. He was 69.
A member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Mr. Atkinson moved here in 1963 from Stenett (sp), Tex and was employed by the Ranchers & Farmers Cattle Sales Co.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Tennessee Atkinson; three sons, Tommy of Clovis, Mack of Plano, Tex. and Gene of Abilene, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Tom Bonner of Fort Sumner.
Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church by the Rev. Royce Herndon, pastor. Burial will follow in Mission Garden Cemetery. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
