Passed away at a Hanford hospital. Mrs. Axtell lived in Stratford for 55 years. Surviving are a brother, John Harrah of Lemoore; eight granddaughters, Mrs. Loleta Anacleto and Mrs. Phyllis Martin of Lemoore, Mrs. Pauline Parker of Morro Bay, Mrs. Jerry Stout of Visalia, Mrs. Shirley Crapo of Fairfield, Mrs. Wilma Weathers of Bakersfield, Mrs. Barbara Crusha of Corcoran and Mrs. Lois Pitman of Cupertino; one grandson, Dwight Axtell of Lancaster; 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
