Fred Delozier Wineland, 91, of Martinsburg, formerly of East Freedom, passed away Saturday at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring. He was the son of the late William and Grace (Delozier) Wineland. He married M. Lenore Blattenberger Jan. 20, 1937, in Hagerstown, Md. She died Aug. 9, 2000. He then married B. Jane Wutchic Oct. 15, 2004, in Martinsburg.


Surviving are his wife of Martinsburg; a son, W. Daniel Wineland of Toronto, Canada; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons: Gary, Dean and Jon Wineland.

Fred was known for many decades as owner and manager of Wineland's Feed Store in Claysburg. He was a member of East Freedom Chapel.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2008, at East Freedom Chapel, with Mr. David S. Harper officiating.

Arrangements are by Miller Funeral Home, East Freedom.
