Died when her daughter Doris was 6 months old - her husband Charles then gave Doris to the next door neighbors and moved to Lansing with her son Milo. Nobody knows why Charles gave Doris up but there was contact as Charles' obituary lists Doris as a surviving daughter and in my grandmother's baby book there were gifts from her uncle Milo. It's also unknown why she's listed as Johnson on her headstone when she'd been married for 4 years to Charles Perkins.
