East Prairie, Aug. 31

Funeral services for James A Owen, 85 years old, of Memphis, Tenn., retired lumberman and farmer will be conducted here on Sunday. Mr. Owen died at a Memphis hospital yesterday.

Born at Hickman, KY, he lived many years at East Prairie and in New Madrid County, He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.

Grandfather of Charles Owen

Married to 1) Laura Frances Fletcher Owen and 2) Ethel Cobb Wilson Owen
