Rector R. "Bill" Cook, 86, of Homosassa, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014, at HPH Hospice Care Center in Lecanto. A native of Maynard, Arkansas, he was born September 21, 1928, to Montie and Sarah (Johnson) Cook, one of four children. Bill, as he was known to many, was a retired assembler for Ford Motor Company, St. Louis, Missouri and was also a Mason. Mr. Cook served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army and moved here in 1989 from St. Louis.
He is survived by his sister, Lecta Creason, Risco, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Gracie M. Cook, on April 5, 2011; and two brothers.
