Born in Philadelphia on February 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Philip G. and Ethel M. Kelly Foster. She was predeceased by her step mother Mary T. Foster. Cookie was previously employed in the Wrapping Department for Hershey Foods. Cookie and Ken had been members of Faith Tabernacle Congregational in Lebanon. She collected Boyd’s bears and Longaberger baskets. While at the Home, Cookie enjoyed drawing and painting. Her favorite pastime was reading.
Surviving are her children; a son Kenneth Boyer, Jr., Brenda Boyer, Cathy Boyer, Barbara Wagner, Cheryl Vassallo, grandchildren; Cherie, Rebecca, Kevin, Jennifer, Paige, Emily, Alexander, ten great grandchildren, brothers Philip Foster, Roland Foster, Marvin Foster, sisters, Diane Macharola, Ruth Foster, Mary Jane Foster, Sarah Foster, and Darleen Foster. She was preceded in death by her brothers Walter Foster, Kenneth Foster, and sisters Mary Troutman and Susan Foster.
Funeral services will be held on December 12, 2014 at 11:30AM from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. There will be a visitation with the family held one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Cookie’s memory to The American Heart Association, PO Box 1263, Lebanon, PA 17042.
