John is a son of George and Anna (Wilson) Copp. He married Virginia Clark (Widow Bayless) in 1869, they have four children: Minnie, Lola, George and John Jr, who was born three months after his death. John was a farmer, his arm was twisted in a thrashing machine and amputated. He died some days later. Family Records
