Achilles H. Cosner Passes At Orofino
Orofino, Dec. 30.--Achilles H. Cosner, 75, died at 8 this morning at Orofino hospital after an illness of 55 days. Death was due to pneumonia. Mr. Cosner had been a resident of this area 45 years, homesteading in the Sunnyside district.
He farmed at Sunnyside until his retirement a few years ago.
Mr. Cosner was born June 24, 1876, in West Virginia.
He was a member of the Brethren church. He is survived by a son, Richard, of Cavendish; two brothers, P. H. Cosner, Irrigon, Ore., and Jasper, Myrtle Point, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Elorie Carter, Weiser; and five grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Gilbert's funeral chapel. Burial will be at Moscow.
