Floyd “Pugar” Woods, 89, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas died December 10, 2014 at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab.

Born October 22, 1925 in Colcord, Oklahoma, he was the son of Roy and Mary Ellen (Beck) Woods. Pugar and Dorothy Jean Thomas were married July 12, 1952 in Bentonville, Arkansas.

He was a retired rural mail carrier and farmer. Pugar was a member of the Postal Workers Union, Colcord School Board past president and member. He was a member of the Colcord Church of Christ, Colcord, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lloyd and sisters Pansy and Lena.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy of the home; daughters Sandra Staggs and husband Bill of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Jeanie Mayo of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren Jamie Mundy of Jay, Oklahoma, Alisha Staggs of Fayetteville, Arkansas, BJ Staggs of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Jason Mayo of Santa Fe, New Mexico; two great grandchildren Kadence Mundy of Jay, Oklahoma and Olivia Mayo of Santa Fe, New Mexico and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, December 15, 2014 at Colcord Church of Christ, Colcord, Oklahoma with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
