Brown - June 14,1949, at Cutler City, Ore. Frank Wesbrook Brown of Cutler City, Oregon, aged 50 years. Survived by one son, Charles B. Brown and one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Capelle, both of Vancouver, 3 brothers, Atkins, Joel and T.J. Brown of California, and one sister, Emma Brown also of California. Mr. Brown was a resident of Vancouver for many years before moving to Cutler City, Ore. about 3 years ago. Born February 14, 1899. Remains at Limbers Funeral Chapel with Rev. H Cameron Angel officiating. Interment will be in Park Hill Cemetery.
Frank Brown and Mary Weston met at the DelMonte Cannery here in Vancouver, Washington.
They married in a double ceremony with Mary's sister, Mildred Weston and John Bleth, although Mary and Frank were married in the Parish House as Frank was not Catholic. There is a copy of this newsclipping in The Columbian, Friday, 27 July 1923.
Mary and Frank Brown resided in a tiny home on E. 18th street when they first married.
Frank worked as a steamfitter at the Shipyards in Vancouver, Washington in the 1940's.
