Obituary.....The Dayton friends of Mrs John Soder were pained to learn of the death at her home near Braham, Minnesota, June 23, 1921 after an illness of some three weeks. The immediate cause of her death being due to congestion of the lungs. Cora Bowman was born at Hook's Point May 25, 1876, the daughter of William and Maria (Hardin) Bowman being 45 years and 29 days of age at her death. She was united in marriage at Dayton, Iowa to John Soder, April 20, 1904 and they resided in Dayton and Stratford until 6 years ago, when they moved to Minnesota...Besides the bereaved husband, she leaves to mourn her passing, two sons, Rolland and Harold, and two dear little daughters, Muriel and Clarice, who will miss the mother love and care, which no loving friend can supply, Also by two sisters, Mrs. Frank Cofer of Kingman, Ariz. and Mrs Van Iles of Yell township, northeast of Dayton...Funeral services were held at the home and from the Lutheran Church in Braham....Interment was made at the Stanchfield Cemetery beside the remains of the infant son, where the last sad rites were performed and she was left sleeping in a bed of roses.
