Weems Farrer, 87, passed away peacefully December 9, 2014 In Rockport, Texas. He was born on September 4, 1927 to Alfred and Virginia Farrer in Victoria, Texas. He worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. for 33 years, after retiring in 1993 he went to work for Merrill Lynch as an Insurance Adviser. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rockport, Texas.
Weems was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Virginia Farrer .
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Marjorie Farrer; daughter, Gwenith Jean Watson and her husband Steven of Austin, Texas; son, Weems Farrer Jr. and his wife Vicki from Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie Meadows and her husband Chance of Crosby, Texas, Russell Dillon of Austin, Texas and Shauna Epps of California.
A burial will be held at Farrer Cemetery in Inez, TX.
