Mr. Styer was born in Lima, Ohio, son of William H.H. and Cuba Styer.He was a coordinator for the Marathon Pipeline for 45 years, a member of Casey White Oak Church of God, Seekers Sunday School Class and an Army veteran of World War II. He married Betty Settlemire in 1945.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Barbara Berry of Piqua, Ohio; Bethany Huston of Beulah, Mich.; Bobette Phillipi od Windsor; sisters, Naola Lane and Evelyn Styer, both of Venice, Fla.; Doris Brackney of Lima, Ohio; five grandchildren.
