Mary L. Burbank, 73 of Battle Creek died with her family at her side, at the home of her daughter in Bellevue on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
Mary was born December 14, 1940, in Battle Creek to Seigal and Maryette (Keeler) Rench. She attended Brownlee Park and Battle Creek Public Schools. Mary was a loving homemaker and was also employed at Mother's Cleaners and the Docsa Home.
Mary was united in marriage to Robert J. Burbank, Sr. on May 14, 1957. Surviving are two daughters, Brenda (Randy) Titus, Lavona (Mathew) Bernheisel; two sons, Daniel Burbank and Robert "Jim" (Wanda) Burbank, Jr.; 13 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Tim (Deb) Rench of Tekonsha, Terry (Marcia) Rench and Seigal (Marylou) Rench. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Mary Ann Titus; son, Kenneth Nile Burbank; two brothers, Harold Rench, Harry Creller; four sisters, Della Roote, Delia Moore, Sally Way, Dixie Krem; and by her sister-in-law and best friend, Judy Creller.
Mary enjoyed sewing, going to garage sales and especially shopping at the grocery store. She loved her horses and she spoiled and fed all the animals.
Funeral services were officiated by her cousin, Rev. Dennis K. Siddall.
