Henry James Weeks was born 21 June 1885 in Wausau, Marathon, Wisconsin, the eldest of ten children of Hans H. Weik (1854-1917) and Benedicta Wolden Weik (1862-1940). They were both Norwegian immigrants. Their last name was alternately spelled Weik /Wiek/ Wieck/ Weeks. Henry lived in Dillon, Montana by 1918, and soon relocated to Spokane, WA. There he married Louise Borup Little (1882-1965) on 25 March 1921. He worked as a ranch hand and engineer. He died on 12 November 1938 in Spokane, WA at the age of 53.
