Betty J. Glucoft (93), of Spokane Valley, WA, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Hospice of Spokane, 367 E Seventh Ave, Spokane, WA. Betty was born on March 16, 1921 in Clearspring Township, Indiana to Ernest and Florence (Lehman) Heeter. She was the second of two children, with an older brother Max.

She married Harold Glucoft on July 22, 1955. Betty worked as a bookkeeper in Indiana where she met her husband Harold and later in California before finally retiring upon their move to Spokane, WA over 40 years ago.

Betty is survived by her step-son Stephen Glucoft of Longview, WA; her daughter Roberta (Robert) Sanders of Kennewick, WA; her step-son Terry (Jennifer) Glucoft of Vancouver, WA; seven granddaughters, four grandsons, twelve great-grandsons, twelve great-grand- daughters, two great-great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harold; her youngest daughter Rebecca; a granddaughter, two great-grand daughters; a great-grandson; and her brother Max.

Her Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA.
