Imogene McDaniel, 85, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away December 6, 2014. She was born July 28, 1929 to Robert and Ada Dake in Russett, Oklahoma.
Imogene lived in Russett, OK until the age of 16 and moved to Oklahoma City in 1950. She loved to cook and started working in cafeterias in OKC public schools and then the OPUBCO cafeteria until she retired at the age of 62 and began traveling in 1993. Imogene was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Yukon.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Mize; 2 grandchildren, Corey Ward and Darren Ward and wife, Heather; 1 great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert McDaniel; sister, June Yarberry. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the chapel of John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK.
Interment to be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada, OK.
