She was born to Joseph and Jenny Laning on Jun 14, 1926, in Lakeview, OR. When she was a girl, her father decided to become a trapper, and moved the family to Alberta. Dolores loved growing up in the log cabin her father built there.
In 1946 she married Bill Fayette. Throughout her life, she cherished her relationships with her six sisters and one brother.
In addition to her career as a nurse, Dolores enjoyed flower gardening, collecting miniatures, reading the Bible, and her three children. She always kept a clean house.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; and daughter, Dessie Rider.
A graveside service will be held on Monday December 8, 2014, 1:00pm at Greenacres Memorial Park.
