"From obit: "joined the Methodist Church at Lucas, Iowa when he was young. Several years after the death of his wife he moved to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Bishop of Osceola...he attended services at the Assembly of God Church when he was able...He was a kind husband and a loving father." He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Mullen.
