Mr. William Calvert Paynter of Marlton,NJ, formerly of Baltimore City, MD, departed this world Wedneday, August 20, 2014. He was 77.
Mr. Paynter was retired & the owner of William C.Paynter Inc. He earned his MBA at Temple University.
As a boy he was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America in the Baltimore City Council. As an adult he was a leader & proud father working with Burlington County Boy Scout Council & earned his Wood Badge beads.
He is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Alexius Paynter & his son Jeffrey S. Paynter.
He is survived by his wife, Simone Paynter, formerly of Marlton;Sons Bill (Kathy) of Willingboro & Alex of Marlton; a daughter Stephanie Cortazzo(Steve) of Winston Salem, NC; 8 grandchildren Chuck Coverly (Ann Marie) Bonnie Varsaci,Rick Paynter, DJ Reilly & Ryan, Nicole, Joe & Rhiannon Cortazzo; 1 great grandchild Katelyn Varsaci; 2 sisters-in-law, 9 nieces & nephews & 3 cousins & their families.
A memorial service will be held 11 am, Saturday August 30 at Page Funeral Home 302 E. Union St. Burlington. Private Interment will be held in Moreland Memorial Park, Taylor Ave,Parkville, MD.
