James Edward 'Jim' Williams was the 3rd of 06 children born to Robert 'Dale' Williams I AND Alice Marie (Monaco) ((Williams)).

'Jim' was born in Warrensburg, Johnson Co., MO but later moved to Liberty, Clay County, MO, where he attended St. James Catholic Elementary School and Liberty High School.
He worked in manufacturing. After a marriage and divorce, 'Jim' bought a home, and lived the rest of his life in Independence, Jackson Co., Missouri.

'Jim's lifelong dream was realized in 2014, when he was able to purchase his deceased father's farm, near Oak Grove, that 'Jim' and his two brothers had cleared and maintained under their father's watchful eye during their youth. After his father, and then both brother's deaths, 'Jim' had maintained the farm, hoping to keep it in the 'family' for his nephews to hunt and fish at.

A visitation was held on December 11, 2014, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Royer Funeral Home, 101 S.E. 15th Street Oak Grove, MO 64075 Phone: (816) 690-4441. A 'Washington Redskins' ball cap was prominently displayed on Jim's casket.

'Jim' was buried on December 12, 2014, after a graveside service, at the Cobb Cemetery, south of I-70 at the Bates City exit in Johnson Co., Missouri, near the farm he fought for so long. The preacher, many of the graveside family and friends attendees, All of his 4 nephews, plus the other 2 pallbearers chose to wear bib overalls, in honor of Jim's typical clothing of choice.
