John G. Owen, 70 years old, of Worthington, died Friday afternoon at the Freeman-Greene County hospital in Linton. Surviving are the widow, Marguerite; two daughters, Mrs Mewt Gillespie of Worthington and Mrs Robert Cloughley of Albuquerque, N.M. and a son, John B. Owen of Kansas City, Mo. He was chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Mutual Casualty Insurance Corportation of Kansas City, Mo. Private funeral services will be conducted at the Myers Funeral Home in Worthington at 10 am Monday. Burial will be in Worthing cemetery.
