Private graveside services for John F. Keyser, 83, of rural Yates City will be at Elmwood Cemetery. He was pronounced dead Saturday, June 8, 2002, at his residence.
Born Nov. 15, 1918, near Elmwood to John F. and Lucille Adams Keyser, he married Helen Eldert. She died Nov. 17, 1987. He later married Marilee Warner on Aug. 10, 1991. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Gary (and Debbie) of Washington; one stepson, Dean (and Vickie) Warner of Elmwood; and one stepdaughter, Lori (and Jerry) Marr of Apex, N.C.
He had farmed near Yates City most of his life and was a member of Knox County Farm Bureau.
