Preceded in death by parents; husband, Richard S.; brothers, Vance and Kenwyn; and granddaughter, Angie. Survived by children, Larry (Brenda Oswalt), Sharlene Bence, Melanie Weaver, Karla Trout and Paul (Kimberley Davis) Trout; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Homer Burns. She was a retired nurse from Indiana Hospital and Mountain View Christian Home. Member of Hillsdale Assembly of God Church and Missions Around the World Church, Alverda. Friends received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 16, at Long-Contres Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Purchase Line United Methodist Church, Commodore, the Rev. Robert Ferguson, the Rev. Paul Yarnal, the Rev. Rachel Karlinsey and the Rev. Paul Price will officiate. Interment, McDowell Cemetery.
