Myra died 23 January 1942 in Owosso, Shiawassee County, Michigan.

James died 27 July 1945 in Grand Ledge, Eaton County, Michigan.

Grand Ledge, Aug. 1 - James I. Copenhaver, 81, died Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Smith. He was born November 28, 1863, in Eagle Township and came to Grand Ledge to live three years ago. Funeral services were held at the Peters funeral home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Hugh Putnam officiated and Rev. H. M. Dafoe assisted. Internment was at Oakwood Cemetery. Survivors are two sons, Clyde of Grand Ledge and Corp. David Copenhaver of the Phillippines; two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Croy of Lansing and Mrs. Mabel Smith of Grand Ledge; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
