He was born November 28, 1863, in Eagle Township and came to Grand Ledge to live three years ago. Funeral services were held at the Peters funeral home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Hugh Putnam officiated and Rev. H. M. Dafoe assisted. Internment was at Oakwood Cemetery. Survivors are two sons, Clyde of Grand Ledge and Corp. David Copenhaver of the Phillippines; two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Croy of Lansing and Mrs. Mabel Smith of Grand Ledge; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
