Edna Anne Conner, daughter of Mrs. Sophia Conner, was born October 17, 1886; died April 2, 1907, aged 20 years, 5 months and 16 days. She was graduated from Holton High School two years ago with first honor. This gave her a scholarship in Baker University, where she spent the following year. During the year just past she taught successfully at Plainville, Kan. At the close of her school year, about one-month before her death, she returned to Kansas City where is now the home of her mother and sister. She came back from her years work worn out ... On the 28th of March she was taken suddenly ill in a store in Kansas City. She was removed to the hospital where in the early morning of April 2 she fell asleep ....
