He attended the Wildwood Presbyterian Church. He was a Mason and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors: wife, Ruth; daughters, Fredda Fox, Mary Yankay, both of Wildwood; stepdaughters, Linda Yorde, Germany, Valerie Sutter, Grand Rapids, Mich.; stepsons, Vernon Chapman, Grand Rapids, Mich., Kenneth Chapman, Alden, Mich., Dennis Chapman, Provo, Utah, David Chapman, Majave, Calif.; sister, Donna Schmitz, Zephyrhills; two granddaughters; 16 stepgrandchildren; eight great step-grandchildren.
