Ed has worked for Adams Memorial Hospital since 1984. He was a certified EMT-P for Adams County EMS and served the community as a paramedic for many years. For the past decade he served as director of Adams County EMS. Ed was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, but one of the greatest roles he ever filled was being “Papa”. He loved to travel with his wife; was a Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame Football fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa A. Ford of Decatur; two sons Ben (Jobie) Ford and Jeremiah Ford; a daughter Natasha (Mark) Graves all of Decatur; his father Edwin L. Ford II of New Haven; a brother Jeff (Terri) Ford of Columbus, OH; a sister Kim (Matt) Feasel of New Haven; six grandchildren, Haleigh Mosser, Gracie Ford, Kadance Ford, Lauren Ford, Norah Graves and baby Ford due to arrive in March; Father and Mother-in-law, Bob and Kay Jaurigue and brother-in-law Randy (Marilu) Jaurigue all of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his mother Reva K. Ford.
