DISCREPANCY re date of birth: Even a quick look at Silas' death certificate (image on this memorial) reveals that the informant didn't know if he was married, didn't know his mother's correct name, etc. More importantly, the "1850" date of birth (and the age "81" at death) are patently false. He was age 10 in the 1870 Federal Census (image on this memorial), and the 1900 Federal Census (image on this memorial) says he was born June 1860 and age 39 in 1900.
Burial was on 2/10/1932.
