Mr. Lucious Boykin Jr., 74, of 242 North Kight Drive, died on Friday, at Emory University Healthcare in Atlanta.
Mr. Boykin was born March 20, 1931, in Troup County, the son of the late Lucious and Odessa Boykin, Sr.
Mr. Boykin was a longtime employee and retiree of Callaway Mills.
Survivors include five daughters, Penny and Arnold Woodyard of Stockbridge, Barbara Boykin of Lagrange, Alma and Larry Harmon of Ft. Walton, FL, Cynthia Boykin of Jonesboro and Mary Person of Boston, MA; one son, Gerald and Rita Boykin of Fairburn; two sisters, Rosa Lee Cofield and Berma Boykin of Lagrange; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by one daughter, Lora Boykin and one brother .
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, at 1 p.m. at Southview cemetery.
Viewing time and reception will be tonight, during the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. only, at Mackey-Wilson- Jennings Funeral Home.
